Dental Assistants

Tiffany, Dental Assistant

Tiffany was born and raised in Maine where she was introduced to dental assisting in high school. She learned chair-side hands on and loved it! She loves helping others and bringing her positive attitude wherever she goes. She has obtained her radiographer certificate and looks forward to building up her dental assisting career. In her spare time she thrives on being a mother of 2 boys. She’s always around family and friends and enjoys anything outdoors. She enjoys boxing and Brazilian Jujitsu as well as always challenging herself.

Tammi, Dental Assistant

Tammi was born and raised in Mid Coast Maine and has been working in dentistry since 2023. She brings warmth, creativity, and a passion for service to everything she does. Always eager to learn and grow, Tammi is committed to developing her skills and providing exceptional care to every patient.

Before entering the dental field, Tammi built a career in the restaurant industry, working in establishments across the country. It was there she discovered her true calling—serving others and creating meaningful, memorable experiences. That same dedication to care and connection continues to guide her today.

Outside the office, Tammi enjoys life to the fullest. Her favorite hobbies include baking, cooking, and crafting—passions she discovered early on. She also loves spending time at the beach, trying new foods, and being with her large family (often baking pies and cakes to share). She finds true joy in creativity, community, and connection.

Jolie, Dental Assistant

Jolie has experience in both private and public dental practices, working in a variety of roles that have given her a strong, well-rounded foundation in the field. She is dedicated to creating a calm and supportive experience for patients, and is known for her compassionate and approachable nature. With a versatile background in both clinical and administrative areas, Jolie brings adaptability and professionalism to every part of the office. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her two children and traveling together to explore big cities.

Hygienists

Lindsay, Hygienist

Lindsay grew up in Bath, Maine. She graduated from UNE with her bachelor’s degree in 2013. She enjoys helping patients uncover their healthiest and brightest smile. She takes pride in her thoroughness and cares for her patients. Lindsay enjoys spending time with her family and friends, hiking, and traveling.

Samantha, Hygienist

Samantha grew up in Turner, Maine. She began her dental career in 2014 as a dental assistant, and then continued her education to become a dental hygienist with an associate’s degree from Bristol Community College and a bachelor’s degree from University of Maine at Augusta. Samantha enjoys building relationships with her patients and helping them feel confident about their oral health. Outside of work she enjoys reading, trying new restaurants, and exploring with her husband and golden retriever.

Amanda, Hygienist

Amanda graduated with her bachelors degree from the University of New England in 2017. She is passionate about educating her patients on the importance of oral health and helping them feel confident with their smiles. Amanda grew up in southern Maine. She currently resides in Lisbon with her husband and two Goldendoodles. In her free time she enjoys reading, trying out new recipes, and spending time with family and friends.

Practice Manager

David, Practice Manager

David grew up in the Sebago Lake region where he attended Sacopee Valley High School. After graduation, he attended the University of Maine and graduated in December 1992 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Accounting. Upon graduation he worked in the insurance industry throughout all the New England states in various positions for 11 years. He worked for an insurance company as well as the employer/broker side and brings a wealth of knowledge to the practice. David is an avid sports fan and could talk for hours about the Boston area sports teams. He also enjoys outdoor activities, especially scuba diving, hiking, boating, snowmobiling, camping, and golf. David loves dogs and just has four chihuahua’s as the poodles passed away in 2021.

Chris, Patient Care Coordinator

Chris was born in Rochester, New Hampshire and graduated from Southern New Hampshire University with a bachelors degree in General Studies and a concentration in Sports Management. Chris worked in banking prior to joining Bath Family Dental. Outside of the office, Chris enjoys football, golf and exploring the Midcoast of Maine with his wife.

In remembrance of our hygienist, Melanie.

Melanie grew up in Lewiston, Maine, where she attended Lewiston High School and worked at St. Mary’s Hospital part time. She attended University College of Bangor (UMA) and graduated in 2005 with her Associate’s Degree in Dental Hygiene with her certificate to administer local anesthesia. During her last semester of hygiene school, Melanie was awarded with the Oral-B Patient Educator of the Year Award. Melanie lived in Georgetown with her puppy. She had been practicing hygiene for over a decade. Her hobbies included arts and crafts of all kinds. She was fluent in French, Melanie’s parents are from rural Quebec and that is where all of her extended family still lives.

Melanie was one of the most dedicated dental hygienist’s we have ever worked with. She was at Bath Family Dental for 12 years and will be greatly remembered and missed. She made a great impact on the patients who go to sit in her chair regularly. Melanie passed away unexpectedly on December 14, 2021.
